Terms & Conditions for the download area
1. Preamble
The Steirische Tourismus und Standortmarketing GmbH- STG (hereinafter referred to as "STG") has a download area with a wide range of content that serves to promote Styria as an appealing location to live and work.
The STG does not just keep its content for its own advertising campaigns, but also makes it available to other interested parties for their purposes in accordance with the Terms & Conditions – provided that they do not conflict with the STG's task, which is to promote location Styria.
The currently available content for the promotion of the STG's location Styria is stored online at standort.steiermark.com/download and can be viewed and selected there.
2. Right of use
The following have permission to download from the download area with a password:
• Styrian companies, organisations, institutions, universities, etc.
• Media
• Adventure regions of Styria (tourism associations according to the Styrian Tourism Act)
Any use of the content is at the user's risk. The latest version from the download area must always be used.
Disclosure of the content to third parties is expressly prohibited. Any further or other use of the content requires written consent from the STG.
The STG assumes no liability in connection with the use of the content. All content is protected by copyright. The user shall completely indemnify and hold the STG harmless for claims of any kind in connection with the violation of the terms of use or statutory provisions and shall immediately compensate for any resulting disadvantages or damages.

Please note the restrictions set out in these Terms & Conditions regarding the use of the downloaded content. Any further use of the content is not permitted. The use of the content is granted exclusively for the agreed purpose and for a certain period of time. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the time limit is one year from download or provision of the content. If no use has been made of it within this year it will automatically expire.
The right of use includes only the use of the content in its existing form. It does not include any modification or alteration of the content. The transfer or sublicensing of this permission to use the content to third parties is explicitly excluded unless the STG has given its express written consent.
Should modification, alteration or expansion of specific content be necessary, this content is to be forwarded to the STG and arranged only after consultation with and approval by the STG.
The content may not be used for any purpose which is contrary to that of the STG. In particular, the content may not be used in connection with anti-democratic, racist or sexual content, political parties or content, NGOs or in an unlawful manner. The STG also expressly prohibits the use of the content to the detriment of the reputation of Styria.
It is also prohibited to use the content for the promotion of other (federal) states than Styria.
Furthermore, the content may not be used to print on objects of any kind (e.g. promotional gifts, merchandising products, souvenirs).
You agree to use the content only for the aforementioned uses.
The STG owns the copyright for content marked with "© Steirische Tourismus und Standortmarketing GmbH- STG".
Use of the content is only permitted for the positive promotion of location Styria. None of the content may be used for commercial advertising projects outside of direct image advertising for location Styria without written authorisation by the STG.
Use of the content is free of charge for all users of the download area.
Use of the content is only permitted with the copyright notice "© Steirische Tourismus und Standortmarketing GmbH- STG".
3. Revocation of permission
STG is entitled to revoke or restrict the permission to use the content at any time without specification of reasons.
4. Liability and warranty
The liability and warranty of the STG is limited to the existence of the granted permission to use the downloaded content. The STG is expressly not liable for the completeness and up-to-datedness of the files. Any further liability and warranty is excluded. The STG is only liable to the user for gross negligence and intent. In particular, claims for consequential damages, loss of profit, etc. are excluded.
If the STG's rights are violated by use of the content that contradicts these Terms & Conditions, the granted permission to use the content or other relevant agreements, you can be prosecuted by the STG.
You also undertake to fully indemnify and hold the STG harmless for all damages incurred as a result of your contravening these Terms & Conditions and the permission to use the content, as well as in the event of the assertion of claims by third parties regarding an infringement of their rights by use of the content in violation of these Terms & Conditions and permission to use it, including the costs of legal defence and/or prosecution, and to support the STG in the event of the assertion of third-party rights.
5. Applicable law and jurisdiction
Austrian law applies without regard to conflict of law principles and the UN Sales Law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be the court with jurisdiction over the subject matter in Graz.
6.Severability clause
Should any provision of these Terms & Conditions be or become invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, this shall not affect the legal validity of all other provisions. The legally invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid and enforceable provision that comes as close as possible to the content and purpose of the legally invalid or unenforceable provision.
